Abstract:

The purpose of the study was to to examine thermal homogeneity of the wall with ventilated façade. In the theoretical part of the study the main aim was to study basic characteristics of ventilated façade system. Despite high energy efficiency rates of such systems, the key issue was the thermal bridge problem. Previous studies have indicated that anchors, on which the metal profile is fixed, penetrate the insulation, degrading the thermal characteristics of the wall. The study was aimed at assessing the strength of the thermal bridge effect by creating a wall thermogram. The results of the study showed the need of reiteration of the experiments in other weather conditions for greater reliability of information
