        <p>Nowadays a lot of countries have national programs of nanotechnologies development. The application of those achievements becomes more popular in civil engineering. Aerogel is one of the innovative developments. The usage of materials based on aerogel in civil engineering has been analyzed in this article, particularly in civil engineering of Russian market segment. The perspectives of usage aerogel as construction material have been assessed.</p>
